LeJoyce Gaulden Adams is a second-grade special education inclusion teacher at Hillcrest Elementary School in Ruston, Louisiana. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother. LeJoyce loves reading, writing, singing, and dancing. Her love and passion for teaching for over 20 years have been the driving forces behind her writing children's books. LeJoyce was teacher of the year at Hillcrest Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year. She is a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Arcadia, Louisiana, and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
LeJoyce is a 1980 graduate of Arcadia High School and a 1985 graduate of Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She obtained her elementary education certification from Grambling State University and her special education certification from Louisiana Tech University.
